Somewhere to go in the evenings.
If you like a bit of live music in the evening try The Rose Pub in Paphos. It's up the road from the sea front between Athos jewellers and a pizza restaurant (Piazza I think, McDonalds is just behind it). The Rose is a little way up on the right; it has a website with a map as well.
At the moment they have Axis (Howard, John & Stan) on a Saturday, they play classic rock & pop from the 60's up to now, something for everybody. Beatles, Stones, Oasis, Coldplay, and so on!
On Thursday it's Lock Stock (Alex & Steve plus drum machine) who do more heavy rock & metal, a bit of Metallica, older classic rock etc..
On Monday it's Howard from Axis and Steve from Lock Stock who generally lark about and will have a go at anything, and do alot of Irish music (Howard being Irish), so expect Thin Lizzy and Van Morrison amongst others.
All of them will give you a good evening's entertainment and a boogie if you so wish (and have a go at your requests if they can); and the staff are really friendly and helpful too.
On Friday they have a drag act, the Divine Miss Debonair, who we didn't see so can't comment on (can't do 3 late nights in a row at our age!).
One night we were also lucky enough to see a couple of lads doing a truly amazing fire juggling & eating act. Don't know if they are going to be regulars. Hope so!
We had several good nights there, the sort of thing that can make a holiday really good if you don't like bingo or karaoke!
